Barciany

A rural municipality in Kętrzyn County, in the northern part of the Warmia-Masuria Voivodeship, on the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast. It covers an area of 293.62 km² and is home to about 6,100 people. The seat of the municipal authorities is the village of Barciany, a former Teutonic Order commandery. The municipality has an agricultural character.
