A rural municipality in Braniewo County, Warmia-Masuria Voivodeship, surrounding the town of Braniewo (the municipal office is located in Braniewo). It covers 306.93 km² and is home to about 6,000 residents. The municipality has an agricultural and forest character — farmland makes up about 60% of its area and forests about 22%.
