Węgorzewo County

A land county in the north-eastern part of the Warmia-Masuria Voivodeship, bordering the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation to the north. It covers an area of 693.43 km² and has about 20,670 residents (as of 31 December 2024). The seat of the county authorities is Węgorzewo. The county was reactivated in 2002 after being separated from Giżycko County.
